Are you struggling with your off camera flash techniques at Weddings ? Confused about when, where & how to use off-camera flash at a wedding ?
If the answer is yes to the above, then here is a mini-seminar you can’t afford to miss out on. Following the hugely successful ‘Speedlight Portraits’ Mini Seminar, Sim2000 & SF Photo School are thrilled to bring this exciting mini seminar on how to get the best out of off camera flash techniques at weddings.
As you know, time is a very luxurious commodity at a wedding. Things happen unexpectedly, schedule of the day running late and the photographer is the one who has to cut into his or her time to avoid delays and get the images shot in double quick time.
With so little time to hand, shooting creative images for the wedding photographer is a tough task in itself. Being creative may require flash to be used. Setting up a traditional studio set up consumes too much time, involves lugging around heavy kit bags, with leads / cables everywhere, it is not ideal to set up and shoot.
This is where you turn your little Speedlight into one of the most creative tools in your kit bag. A Speedlight which will transform the look of your images when used correctly.

Workshop Content
During this mini-seminar you will learn how to quickly set up and use your Speedlight from one of the ‘masters’ at off-camera flash. You will learn:
- simple set up of off-camera flash
- how to set your flash exposure
- use flash as your main light
- use flash as your fill-in light
- what accessories to use i.e softbox / umbrella
You will also learn and see ‘real wedding’ examples of how off-camera flash set up when photographing :
- Detail Shots
- Bridal Portraits
- Group Shots
- Bride & Groom Shots
- Cake Shots
- 1st Dance
Plus you will see examples & set ups of off camera flash being used at weddings in extreme conditions, from the freezing -35C at the Ice Hotel, Sweden to the hot conditions on a tropical island in Borneo, Malaysia.
